Friends of Mountain History provides two educational programs each year for cultural and heritage organizations and museums in Western North Carolina. These programs address the greatest needs expressed by these non-profits in an assessment survey sent out annually. Topics include: fundraising, marketing, non-profit management, collections care, interpretive programs, exhibition design, and facilities development. These programs are held in Asheville as well as other locations throughout the region.
